West Springfield District Station

Burglary

A Springfield resident reported that someone entered their home through an unlocked window and stole jewelry, according to the Fairfax County Police Department.

The burglary took place at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 5500 block of Moultrie Road, according to police.

A resident reported that several items were stolen from their home, including a safe. Police said that the burglary took place at 9:10 p.m. Tuesday on the 5300 block of Inverchapel Road. The burglar had forced their way into the home through a window.
