NOVA-Annandale Student Sexually Assaulted on Campus

The female student was walking on campus when the assault occurred.

A female student at Northern Virginia Community College's Annandale campus was sexually assaulted on campus Thursday, said NVCC police.

The student was assaulted in the third floor east stairwell of the CM Building around 5 p.m. on Oct. 17, according to an email alert from NVCC. The assault was immediately interrupted by witnesses.

There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, early 20s, 6-feet-tall and weighing about 180 lbs.
