Police: Annandale Man Charged with Assault

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Assault: 7400 block of Little River Turnpike, 3/23/12, 10 p.m. Michael A. Carroll, 23, of Annandale, was charged with assault for allegedly attacking a 23-year-old man who was walking home. Carroll was also charged with [being] drunk in public.

Suspicious Death: 3800 block of Forest Grove Drive, 3/27/12, 1:14 a.m. Officers were called for a possible murder/suicide. .

Franconia District Crime Summaries from March 18-24

Larceny, 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Ctr, 3/20/12. Keys were stolen from a gym bag in an unlocked locker.

Larceny, 6900 block of Braddock Rd, 3/20/12. Gym locker broken into; gym bag containing credit cards and keys was stolen.

Larceny, 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Ctr, 3/23/12. An mp3 player was stolen from a backpack, which was stored in an unlocked locker.
