Police Apprehend Teens After Responding to Alarm at Annandale High School

A police dog tracked two suspects; charges are pending for two teenage boys from Annandale.

Fairfax County Police apprehended two teens in the early hours Tuesday morning, fleeing from Annandale High School. Police were responding to an alarm that went off at the school, at 4700 Medford Dr. in Annandale.

Police responded at 1:16 a.m. Tuesday to an alarm at Annandale High School and observed two suspects fleeing from the school on foot.

A canine officer tracked the two suspects and took them into custody. Charges are pending on a 17-year-old Annandale area male and a 16-year-old Annandale area male.

There was no reported damage inside the school.
