Police Blotter Dec. 19: Robbery at Eden Nails, Vehicle Thefts

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairfax County police department. It does not indicate a conviction

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.

Robbery

A man entered the store at 7038 Columbia Pike and robbed an
employee, a 42-year-old woman, around 5:38 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 12. The suspect was described as black, between 20 and 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and 215 pounds. He was wearing black jeans, a bulky, dark green hoodie, sunglasses and black shoes. The victim did not require medical treatment.

 

Franconia District Crime Summaries from Dec. 4-Dec. 10

Burglary, 4800 block of Backlick Rd, 12/4/11. An individual reported that his home had been broken into.

Larceny, 6900 block of Bradlick Shopping Ctr, 12/6/11. A suspect stole an iPod from a homeless man while he was sleeping.

Fraud, 6800 block of Indian Run Ct, 12/7/11. An individual reported that a tenant had stolen and used two of his debit cards.

Drugs, 4400 block of Elan Pl, 12/9/11. Following a traffic stop, an individual was found to be in possession of marijuana.
