Police Blotter July 19: Attempted Robbery Outside Miso in Annandale

The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department.
Attempted Robbery
A 58-year-old man was the victim of an attempted armed robbery around 12:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 14 outside the Restaurant, located at 7410 Little River Turnpike. The suspect was described as white, in his 20s, with a thin build. He was seen with two other men described as black, in their early 20s, one with a thin build and the other with a medium build. The victim was not injured.

Attemped Forcible Sodomy/Arrest
A woman was allegedly forced to watch pornography, then sexually assaulted as she sought employment help from the in Annandale on July 7. .

Larceny, 7100 block of Byrneley Ln, 7/7/11: An individual reported that his wallet and business cards were stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
