Police Blotter: Robbery, Larceny, Rabies Testing
Police updates from Mason, West Springfield and Franconia District Stations
The following items came from recent police updates from the West Springfield, Franconia and Mason District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department reported from Feb. 16 through Feb. 18.
Robbery
A 15-year-old Annandale-area boy was arrested for assaulting and robbing a 24-year-old woman at gunpoint around 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 13. The victim was walking near the intersection of Medford Drive and Little River Turnpike when the alleged robbery occurred. The suspect was located and taken to the Fairfax County Juvenile Detention Center. He was charged with robbery, brandishing a firearm and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. The victim declined medical treatment.

Animal Control Division
Rabies Testing
Animal Control officers responded to the 3500 block of Aston Street in Annandale for a Husky that was fighting with a raccoon around 2:18 p.m. on Tuesday, February 8. The raccoon was collected and sent for rabies testing.
