Police: Burglary Reported at Residence on Inverchapel Road
The following items are from the recent daily activity reports from the Mason, West Springfield and Franconia District Stations of the Fairfax County Police Department, which includes parts of Annandale.
The following items came from the weekly activity report from the Fairfax County Police Department released on Aug. 16.
Mason District Station
Business Checks, 8/9/13. Officers from the Mason Station with members of the Department of Code Compliance, County Licensing, and the Fire Marshal’s Office inspected several massage businesses. Five criminal violations and nineteen building code violations were cited. One warning was issued reference a display of license.
Fraud, 3500 block of South Jefferson Street, 8/9/13, 9 p.m. Officers responded for a possible prescription fraud involving liquid codeine. Following a short foot pursuit and investigation, Isiah Agyekum, 22, of Washington, DC, was charged with obtaining a prescription by false pretense and assisting another to obtain prescription by false pretense.

Peeping, 3500 block of South George Mason Drive, 8/13/13, 12:05 a.m. A 50-year-old woman reported someone looking into her home. The suspect fled when she saw him.

Unlawful Discharge, 5800 block of Fitzhugh Street, 8/10/13, 11:40 p.m. Officers responded for the sound of possible gunshots. Following an investigation, Clifton Sevachko, 55, of Burke, was charged with unlawful discharge of a firearm.
Burglary, 5500 block of Inverchapel Road, 8/12/13, 11 p.m. A resident reported someone entered the home and stole cash. Forced entry was made through a window.
Peeping, 10200 block of Colston Court, 8/14/13, 2:30 a.m. A 25-year-old woman awoke to see a man looking into the home. The man fled when she threw a pillow at the window.
