The drivers, a 57-year-old and a 64-year-old, were transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.

A 57-year-old man and a 64-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a car crash on Gallows Road in Annandale on Wednesday, according to Fairfax County police.

The 57-year-old was driving a 1999 Toyota Corolla south in the 3800 block of Gallows Road on Nov. 13 around 10 p.m., according to the crime report from Fairfax County police released Thursday. The 64-year-old man was driving a 2003 Acura MDX northbound on Gallows Road near Arnheim Street when, for unknown reasons, the Toyota drifted into the northbound lanes and struck the Acura head on.

The Toyota was then struck from behind by a 2008 Toyota Matrix being driven by a 19-year-old man, the report states.

Both the 57-year-old and the 64-year-old drivers were both transported to a local hospital for serious injuries.

Police said speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash.
