Annandale High School Orchestras 'Tag Day' Fundraiser is Saturday

Students will go door-to-door to ask for donations to support the AHS program.

Students with the Annandale High School Orchestras will be knocking on doors in several Annandale neighborhoods and collecting donations for their annual "Tag Day" fundraiser on Saturday.

All of the money collected during Tag Day goes to support the AHS orchestra program with purchasing sheet music, repairing instruments and pay for additional costs to fund the program, according to Angela Ammerman, director of the AHS orchestras. All donations are tax-deductible.

The students will wear their black orchestra shirts with red and white lettering and will only knock on doors of homes in neighborhoods that are zoned in the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) Annandale pyramid and ask for donations.
