"Protecting Against the Realities of Substance Abuse" Forum at AHS

The upcoming holiday season can provide great opportunities for family and friends to celebrate. Yet it can be a time for increased opportunitiesfor teens to experiment with drinking and drug use. Talking about this issue is important, and parents and guardians and their middle school and high school students are invited and encouraged to attend together an upcoming “Protecting Against the Realities of Substance Abuse” program organized by Parents Reaching Out To Educate Communities Together (P.R.O.T.E.C.T.).

The first program in Fairfax County this month will be on Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. at Annandale High School (Clausen Hall), 4700 Medford Dr., coordinated by the AHS Parent-Teacher Student Association.
