Fairfax County Public Schools Closed Nov. 4-5

All elementary, middle and high schools in Fairfax County will be closed for teacher workdays, Election Day.

Many Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) students may not be of legal voting age yet, but they'll reap the benefits of Election Day next week when they get to sleep in.

FCPS students will have a four-day weekend since Monday, Nov. 4 and Tuesday, Nov. 5 are teacher work days and student holidays.

Additionally, Election Day is Tuesday and many of the polling locations where residents will go to vote are hosted at elementary, middle and high schools throughout the county. Polls will open at 6 a.m. and close at 7 p.m.
