FCPS Seeks Parents for Braddock Elementary Principal Search Panel

The deadline to apply to be on the panel is Tuesday.

Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) is looking for Annandale parents to serve on the Braddock Elementary School review panel to select a new principal for the elementary school.

The panel, according to a message from Braddock Parent-Teacher Association President Suzan Yungner sent through the FCPS Keep in Touch system, will include three parents, three Braddock Elementary staff, a principal from another Cluster 3 school and the Cluster 3 Director.

Yunger will submit six parent names to FCPS to review and they will make the final selection for the three parents who will serve on the panel.

To apply to be on the panel, parents can email Yunger at president@braddockpta.org by Tuesday with the following information: 

  • Name
  • Address
  • Home Phone Number
  • Mobile Number (if you have one)
  • Email Address
  • Ages of Children and Programs in which they are Involved
  • Additional Information

All parents will be interviewed on Thursday, August 1 from 7:30 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. at the FCPS Gatehouse Administrative Center in Falls Church. It’s recommended that all parents plan to be available for the entire time indicated in order for FCPS to interview all potential candidates.
