Give with Target: Vote to Help Your Annandale-Area School Win Supplies

You can vote online to get your school a share of up to $5 million in donations nationwide.

Fairfax County Public Schools students officially return to school on Tuesday, and most parents are likely double checking their lists, trying to make sure their child has all of the supplies they'll need for the school year.

Target is giving parents, residents and communities a chance to receive free school supply donations for the school of their choice. Target is running an online campaign where, if a school gets 25 votes on its Give With Target website, the retailer will donate $25 to the school, and an additional dollar for every vote after that.

A total of 24 Annandale schools are participating in the campaign (and have the following number of votes as of Sept. 2):

Other schools, both private and public, are available for online voting, but currently do not have any votes. See how your school stacks up here.

Target will donate up to $5 million to schools nationwide, twice what the retailer set aside to donate in 2012. You can vote through Sept. 21.
