School Bus Involved in Accident in Annandale

Little River Turnpike eastbound is backed up.

A school bus carrying students heading to Annandale High School this morning was involved in a minor accident this morning.

No students were injured, according to John Torre of Fairfax County Public Schools.

The accident is backing up traffic on Little River Turnpike eastbound.

The accident occured near Medford Drive.

Not sure what the cause of this accident might have been, but many area residents have absolutely no respect for our school buses. My son catches a bus on LR Turnpike and one morning out of five cars speed by ignoring the bus propelled stop sign and lights. Police, are you listening?
