Students Help Students Attend Prom at Lake Braddock Secondary School

"Do Something Club" is doing good at Lake Braddock.

The Do Something Club at Lake Braddock Secondary School is doing something about prom: It's collecting attire for girls who otherwise would not be attending the dance because of the high expenses of formal wear.

Club President Nirali Shah said the club is "dedicated to empowering youth to give back to the community."

In this case, the students are giving back by collecting prom items from dresses to jewelry to cosmetics to shoes until April 1.

Items can be dropped off between 7:20 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. at Lake Braddock's main office.
