New Orleans Cajun Seafood - Authentic Cooking!

Finally, three is an authentic New Orleans seafood restaurant in Falls Church, Virginia. The restaurant is located in Seven Corners, about fifteen minutes from NOVA Annandale Campus, in a shopping center next to CVS/Pharmacy.

They offer a lot of seafood dishes: crawfish, dungeness crab, snow crab, blue crab, shrimp, clam, mussels…everything that you can think of.  The owner told me that they drive to Dullues airport daily to pick up fresh and live crawfish, one of their popular items on the menu. They are all cook fresh in their special Cajun/garlic butter sauces. You can adjust the flavor if you like. I have tried a pound of crawfish and dungness crab with Cajun flavor and mild spicy.  For the crawfish, the taste is surprising good, and I never know that crawfish can be cooked like this tasty before. I saw a lot of customers eating trays of crawfish on their table.

Also, they have Po’ Boy sandwich. As I learn from the menu, it is seafood sandwich! They have catfish, oyster, soft shell crab, and shrimp Po’ Boy sandwiches.  I have tried eight inches long oyster Po’ Boy sandwich for around $8. You will find common sandwich ingredients in the Po’ Boy. The blend taste of vegetable, oyster and bread makes me happy.  From now on, there is alternative choice besides chicken sandwich and hamburger.

Gumbo and Jambalaya soups are on their menu, too.  They are vegetable and seafood soups from New Orleans. The Gumbo comes with rice at the bottom, while Jambalaya is a bit spicier.  I believe each of them has different ingredients, but I really need to try it next time to give you more information. They also have traditional fried seafood combo that includes dinner rolls and choice of additional side. Beignet, a little sweet fried desert looks promising, too.  Overall, the price looks very reasonable.

You will see racks of Cajun seasoning items that they use, which make me feel this place is very authentic.  Customer can choose to purchase the Cajun seasonings to practice New Orleans cooking at home.
