Poll: Patriot District Game of the Week

Vote for the matchup you'd like to see featured Sept. 10 through 14.

Patch wants to know which games are the must-sees for sports fans across Fairfax County; which are those that truly rise above the rest?

This season, we put the ball in your court as we look for a Patch Game of the Week, featuring the game that earns the most votes at the end of each polling period.

Here's how it works:

  • Each Thursday, Patch editors will pick a handful of matchups between Patriot District schools scheduled for the next Monday through Friday.
  • Students, parents, teachers and other community members will have five days to vote for which game should be named "Patch's Game of the Week."
  • On Monday, the game with the most votes will win and earn special coverage for their matchup that week.

This week, the choices are:

  • Lee Field Hockey vs. Annandale - Sept. 13 7:30 p.m.
  • West Springfield Golf vs. T.C. Williams - Sept. 12 Time TBD
  • South County Field Hockey vs. W.T. Woodson - Sept. 14 5 p.m.
  • West Potomac Field Hockey vs. Lake Braddock - Sept. 10 7:30 p.m.

Voting begins at 5 a.m. today and ends at 11:59 a.m. Sept. 10. Only one vote per user — tell your friends and family to log on to pick their favorite, too!

Ginger was found! It took a humane trap to do it, but she is now safe & sound at home in FallsRead More Church. It was, in fact, thanks to this very notice that she was found!
