Bailey's Crossroads Rotary Club to Hold Annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Delivery

Deliveries will be made Saturday to local deserving families.

The Bailey’s Crossroads Rotary Club will conduct its annual Thanksgiving Food Basket Delivery Saturday. The event is sponsored in conjunction with J.E.B. Stuart High School in Falls Church.

Stuart Interact students will join with Bailey’s Rotarians to deliver food to deserving families in the Bailey’s Crossroads area.

Volunteers will assemble at the Safeway store at 5821 Crossroads Center Way, Falls Church at 8 a.m. Deliveries will begin at 9 a.m. with Rotarians driving students to recipients' homes.

Interact is a club for youth ages 12-18 who want to connect with others in their community or school. Interact club members carrying out service projects and learn about the world. Interact clubs organize at least two service projects a year: one that benefits their community and one that encourages international understanding.

The Rotary Club of Bailey's Crossroads, has been serving the Bailey's Crossroads community since 1977. Our members have embraced the Rotary International motto "Service Above Self" as well as "He Profits Most Who Serves Best." The club meets weekly for breakfast every Friday, 7:30 A.M. at the Goodwin House – Bailey’s Crossroads.
