Biden to Visit Annandale, AUMC Christmas Craft Bazaar, Election Day

Five things to look forward to in Annandale this week.

There's plenty happening in Annandale in the next few days. Here's a glimpse at just five events going on this week.

  1. Vice President Joe Biden will be in Annandale Monday morning to campaign for Terry McAuliffe. The rally for volunteers starts at 9 a.m. Check Annandale Patch Monday afternoon for full coverage. 
  2. Election Day is Tuesday. Check out our Voter's Guide for everything you need to know before you hit the poll. Our Elections section is also a good resource for all things Election-related in Virginia.
  3. Saturday is the 7th Annual Christmas Craft Bazaar at Annandale United Methodist Church, located at 6935 Columbia Pike, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be more than 35 artists, crafters and vendors selling a variety of items, such as handcrafted jewelry, ornaments, glass art, fabric art and more. The historic Little White Church and museum will be open to the public for free tours where visitors can learn about the history of Annandale and Northern Virginia. Additionally, there will be a used book sale and bake sale.
  4. Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA) will host a college-wide open house for active-duty service members, veterans and family members on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the NOVA-Annandale Campus.
  5. W.T. Woodson High School in Fairfax will host their 21st Annual Holiday Happenings Craft Show on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
