This place is a gem! It is hidden on the back side of the United Baptist Church. It is hard to see off Columbia pike since you have to drive around the back of the building to the entrance. However, I am very glad I ended up registering my child here - it was a recommendation per my family friend who had their daughter enrolled there before they went to kindergarten. Some things that I love in particular is that it is a locked facility:
1. you have to ring the doorbell to be allowed to enter, and they check IDs to make sure the person has permission to pick-up the child
2. cleanliness: every-time I''m there it is always very clean and smells great; the staff/cleaning lady clean/sanitize continuously throughout the day.
3. operating hours are 6:30 AM-6:30 PM: it's great to have that extra time in the afternoon to run an errand or two before picking up my son - theres a Giant across the street
4. the staff are great, they have a great diverse team of women who genuinely care for the kids - Jasmine and Pamela are always in the office/running around to answer questions and supervise; they are so sweet and accommodating. This is my first child and I was so nervous putting him in daycare.
5. the rates are very low! I was able to register during a time when they waive the registration fee and offered one week free tuition =)
overall, I'm pleased with my experience at Annandale Children's Learning Center.

Beware! My son was roughly handled by the Director, Jasmine Ohi. He had two very distinct red finger marks on his neck, upper shoulder area when he came home. He told me that Ms Jasmine had hurt him! I called CPS and conducted an investigation. Jasmine would not answer my calls and her mother (the owner) told me that Jasmine had a degree in Psychology. This is not true, her degree is in Integrative Studies. I have since moved my child from this school. I would not recommend this school, as there are too many warning signals!
