Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church, in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, developed from St. Gregory of Nyssa Byzantine Catholic Church in downtown D.C., which was founded during the influx of Eastern European immigrants from the early 1900s through the mid-1950s.  Longing to worship in traditional Byzantine Catholic style, the immigrants formed this local Byzantine church.

A growing congregation living in the suburbs desired a more convenient location, bringing about the building and grounds at this Annandale spot.  Today Epiphany Byzantine Catholic Church is a parish family worshiping the Holy Trinity in its distinct Byzantine tradition in the Catholic Church.  To learn more about the church, open to people of all backgrounds,  see its website.
