Located next to Annandale High School, Ossian Hall Park was built on land that was part of an 18th century plantation once owned by the Fitzhugh family of Fairfax County. In addition to hiking fields, the park features an amphitheater, two softball fields, one basketball court and two tennis courts. There are also picnic grounds and a playground. 

Since February 2010, the park has been under construction and is scheduled for completion in October. The renovation includes the addition of a community plaza, multi-use courts, a parking lot with 120 spaces, park benches, and more.
