St. Matthew's United Methodist Church believes in celebrating God and the role God plays in our lives. St. Matthew's UMC is home to one of the area's unique church music programs, the handbell choir, which is featured regularly during each worship service. Brian Johnson returned to the Northern Virginia area to serve as the new associate pastor. Senior Pastor Denise Honeycutt came to the church from the United Methodist Church's Virginia Conference.
