Weyanoke Elementary School's motto is "Weyanoke:  A Community of Learners." Weyanoke, catering to students in grades K-5, is committed to cultivating and educating its abundant international student body and accommodating different learning styles. Instruction is amplified through the Reading Recovery Program, Waterford Early Reading Program and Every Day Counts Calendar Math. Special features include: after school and early start programs, Girl Power, Heritage Festival and after school mentoring, tutoring, and enrichment programs provided by students from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology.
