Kings Glen School was established in 1969 as the first grade four through six elementary school in FairfaxMore County. The school's motto is Building A Positive School Community: A Family Affair and it believes in the importance of academic excellence. Cultural enrichment and academic support is provided by parents and active members of the Kings Glen community. After school activities include: drama club, chess club, dance club and All-Stars (organized games focusing on sportsmanship). Through its partnership with George Mason University, the school also provides a Professional Development School.

United College Ministries is sponsored by a number of Episcopal, Anglican, Presbyterian, Church of Christ and UnitedMore Methodist churches in the Northern Virginia area of the Christian faith. The ministry is dedicated to "changing lives and connecting people to God and to each other" within the Northern Virginia community. The ministry works primarily with students and faculty from various schools such as George Mason University and Northern Virginia Community College, but welcomes the opportunity to work with anyone in higher education.

Each program within the ministry is focused on four areas: support, fellowship, training and involvement. Any individual interested in furthering the mission of UCM is welcome to join and encouraged to volunteer for one of the many opportunities offered.

Annandale Terrace Elementary School administrators and staff believe in helping all students within their diverseMore community build their confidence and character, and achieve success. The school has a strong support system in its faculty and staff that is made up of dedicated teachers, volunteers and a committed Parent Teacher Association. Annandale Terrace also has a Professional Development School, which is supported by a partnership with George Mason University. One of the more unique activities in the school is their jump rope team, the AT Jumpers, which includes both boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 14 who attend public schools in Annandale. The team has competed in numerous competitions and performed at the White House. Annandale Terrace is part of the Annandale High School pyramid which is linked with Poe Middle School and Annandale High School.
