Celebrating Two Years: Happy Anniversary, Annandale Patch!
Two years ago, our site launched in Annandale, Va. and we haven't looked back since.
Well well, look who's walking and talking now! Annandale Patch is officially two years old today. Our site launched on Sept. 8, 2010, just two days before my actual birthday, and we have grown quite a bit since then. Last year, I was mostly amazed that a year had flown by so quickly. As we celebrate our second anniversary, I feel as if we have been around for much longer. Two years seems such a short time to cover all the stories we have. At this time in 2011, we wrote over 1,000 articles, posted over 1,000 events and more than 150 announcements. Today, our numbers are almost double that. In two years, we've produced a total of 3,185 articles, 324 announcements, 2,099 events and 141 blog posts. But we can't take all of the credit. A lot of…
