UPDATE: Police Identify Driver Killed in I-95 South Crash Near Backlick Road Exit
Three-car crash closed down southbound lanes of I-95 Saturday from midnight until 4:40 a.m.
UPDATE 4:20 p.m.: Virginia State Police have identified the driver who was killed in the car crash on I-95 south as Ryan Cox, 23, of Alexandria. Cox was driving a Mazda and Virginia State Police responded to the scene Saturday at about 12 a.m. No further information was given about the crash. --- A driver was killed Friday night in a three-car crash near the Backlick Road exit that shut down the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 for nearly five hours, according to Virginia State Police. I think he may have been referring to the accident that DID occur inside the express lanes, with a drunk driver going southbound in the north bound lanes, No need to be rude...even if he did spell it wrong, you don't have to try and embarrass him, it makes you look like a bully!!
