Korean Gang Founder Sentenced to 17 Years for Extorting Annandale Businesses
Han Sa Yu pleaded guilty to extortion in November last year.
The founder of a Korean gang was sentenced Friday morning to 17 years and six months in prison for extorting Annandale businesses. Han Sa Yu, 44, founder of the Korean Night Breeders Gang, used "fear, violence and threats of violence to extort Korean businesses operating in Annandale," according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Virginia.
