That’s why he’s challenging incumbent and Senate Majority Leader Dick Saslaw for the 35th District Senate seat. “I’ve been fairly frustrated with politics and the quality of the candidates from both parties and a lot of the policies that come out of the various levels of government. My guess is that Robert Sarvis, had he been in the Senate this last session, would have at a minimum insisted on a vote on the transportation bill that passed the House of Delegates that would have required the VA DMV to prioritize their road projects by severity of congestion. This would have effectively placed noerthern Virginia at or near the top of the list. The bill died in committee in the …   more ›
