Michelle Fiscus, Neighbor

Michelle Fiscus hails from across the Mason Dixon Line and grew up in Ellicott City, MD. When it came time for college, she packed her bags and headed South to the Tarheel State. She graduated from Wake Forest University with a B.A. in Communications and called North Carolina home for a couple of years. She worked as a television news producer and radio station promotions director, but Michelle's passion for fitness drew her our of the office and into the gym. She spent months trying to wrap her head around anatomy, physiology, and all the science she once avoided in college. 

The studying paid off when she passed her training exam and became a certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Condition Association (NSCA). Michelle began researching and experimenting with nutrition to help clients reach their goals. She likes to keep up with the diet industry, its ever changing views, and the role hormones play in how you look and feel.

Michelle and her husband reside in Herndon, where they run their own company, Fiscus Fitness LLC. They're both committed to helping others achieve a healthier lifestyle and try to live one themselves. In their spare time, they enjoy being outdoors, working out, and finding the best salads NOVA has to offer!
