An Annandale woman was killed in a car crash in New York Sunday, according to New York State Police.
Tanya L. Evans, 67, died in a one-car crash in Herkimer County. Police said that the crash took place at about 1 p.m. Sunday on I-90 east.
Police said that Jennifer Hodson, of Texas, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Express van when it drove off the left shoulder into a dirt median, re-entered the road, and overturned several times before coming to a stop.

There were nine people inside of the van. Evans was the only passenger to be killed in the crash. The driver and other passengers were taken to area hospitals.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, police said.
