Immigrations and Customs Enforcement removes boxes of documents.

Immigrations and Customs Enforcement raided the Annandale administrative offices of the Thursday.

ICE officials removed several boxes of documents from the offices on the 7500 block of Littler River Turnpike. The university is temporarily unable to accept foreign students, NBC Washington reported. A notice on the door of UNVA’s offices tells students they must leave the United States if they can not “continue to attend classes and maintain their active status in a manner required by federal government regulations,” the notice reads.

UNVA was founded in 2000 and boasts 10,000 students. The school offers distance learning, evening classes, part-time curriculums and study abroad opportunities, including a campus in the Czech Republic. The school’s website, at www.unva.edu, made no mention of Thursday’s raid.
